As professional matchmakers, it’s uncanny how we both see people from all walks of life, socio-economic groups, and cities having the same challenges. We all want love, yet, we are neophytes when it comes to understanding the opposite sex. Every single person we have met has the underlying need for LOVE and companionship-whatever that form looks like.
Yet, we make the same mistakes over and over.
Often we make these repeated mistakes because we are unwilling to look within ourselves. We aren’t looking at why we are making these poor choices and when others take the time to point out what they’ve observed we become defensive, refuse to take responsibility, and blame our former partners. Unfortunately, we aren’t owning that in these failed relationships the common denominator is ourselves. Not that we are solely to blame but rather that we aren’t being honest with our part in the failed dynamic.
We find that it’s important to take a look inside and how we are contributing to this paradigm. Are we offering what it is that we are seeking, or, are we simply expecting the other party to bring the goods when we are not meeting someone where they are?
We have found that before you even set up an online profile, you must have a heart to heart with your heart, mind, and spirit. Have you released the past, and are you coming into a potential possible future without the heaviness of baggage?
Now, this is easier said than done, but wouldn’t it be lovely, to be honest with yourself and not blame others for failure?
If you’ve self-reflected and realized that your answer is a resounding, “YES!” yet you’re unsure where to start “fixing” these mistakes, we highly recommend finding a relationship coach. A relationship coach may be exactly what you need to get you moving towards the positive, loving, and committed relationship that you are seeking.
A relationship coach can help you figure out what it is you want and guide you along the path of learning and developing the proper tools and skills needed to reach your relationship goal. Relationship coaches can help you reinvigorate your love life by supporting you and holding you accountable as you move from relationship failure to relationship success.
So, if you keep making the same mistakes over and over, remember, a relationship coach can help you clear the path of broken relationships so that you can easily reach the relationship you’ve always dreamed of having.
